Did you know that once the average American reaches the age of 40, the risk of oral cancer increases? This is why early detection is important: Early detection can nip any complication in the bud. For the 12th year in a row, Dental Care of Corona is designating April "Oral Cancer Awareness Month." If you are concerned about your risk, please come in for a oral cancer screening with Dr. Patel or ask about the screening at your next check-up. Remember, early detection can result in a better prognosis.
